PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a D-class amplifier capable of reproduction by compressing a dynamic range by nonlinearly converting percent modulation in real time according to the amplitude of an input signal. SOLUTION: The D-class amplifier 1 has a comparison waveform generation circuit comprising a counter circuit 2 for outputting a plurality of pulse signals, a pulse extraction circuit 3 for extracting a pulse signal outputted from the counter circuit 2, a three-state buffer 4 for outputting a clock pulse signal for a comparison waveform generation fundamental period for the input time of an extraction pulse signal outputted from the pulse extraction circuit 3, and an integral circuit 5 that inputs the output of the three-state buffer 4 and outputs a deformation comparison triangular waveform by changing a time constant according to the output of the three-state buffer 4.
