PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide pellets of a specific modified polyolefin and its precursor, a soluble polyolefin, which are useful for a primer, a paint, an adhesive, a binder, an ink, a reactive polymer, and a compatibilizer, and are improved in shelf life. SOLUTION: The pellet of polypropylene comprises a polypropylene which has a racemic diad fraction [r] of 0.12-0.88 measured by<SP>13</SP>C-NMR, a weight-average molecular weight (Mw) of 5,000-500,000, and a solubility in toluene of 5g or more at ordinary temperature. The pellet of modified polypropylene comprises a modified polypropylene which has a weight-average molecular weight (Mw) of 5,000-500,000, and is obtained by graft-binding a modifier-derived unit to a polypropylene which has a racemic diad fraction [r] of 0.12-0.88 measured by<SP>13</SP>C-NMR and a solubility in toluene of 5g or more at ordinary temperature, wherein the unit graft-binds to the polypropylene at a rate of average 0.5-500 per one molecular chain.
