PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amine compound which has a high charge transfer ability and can be produced without using a phosphorus reaction reagent giving large loads to the global environments, and to provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor having excellent electric characteristics, environmental stability, and electric and mechanical durability. SOLUTION: This amine compound represented by general formula (1) [Ar<SP>1</SP>to Ar<SP>3</SP>are each an aryl group or a monovalent heterocyclic residue; Ar<SP>4</SP>is an arylene group or a divalent heterocyclic residue; R<SP>1</SP>is an alkyl group, an aryl group, a monovalent heterocyclic residue or an aralkyl group; (n) is an integer of 1 or 2] is added as a charge transfer substance to the charge transfer layer of the electrographic photoreceptor.
