The present invention accordingly provides new organopolysiloxanes having (meth)acrylic ester groups attached pendent and terminally or only pendent via SiOC groups, of the general average formula (I) and also provides a process for preparing the compounds by reacting polysiloxanes containing SiH groups with (meth)acrylated monoalcohols and/or (meth)acrylated polyalcohols using Lewis-acidic catalysts or catalysts comprising a carboxylic acid and salts thereof.
