Construction device for production of loose ways on a track or curbstone supporting ballast substructure has a container for loose substrate material, an outlet for output of the substrate onto the ballast substructure and a fastening device for attachment to a towing engine. The construction device is towed by the towing engine. The construction device has guide means for defining an edge at a distance from the track or curbstone parallel to the towing direction.
