<p>A stent-delivery catheter having a stent-securing section on the distal end (13) of the catheter shaft, the stent-securing section (17, 18, 19, 20) having a sideways profile with a border that is unparallel to the longitudinal axis of the stent-securing section, as well as a method of mounting a stent thereupon are disclosed. Also disclosed are a method of deploying a stent using the stent delivery catheter and a surgical device including the stent-delivery catheter.</p> |
