<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate-supporting type solid oxide fuel battery cell which is superior in strength/rigidity of a substrate, capable of reducing its thickness, capable of preventing exfoliation or crack of an electrode or an electrolyte layer caused by thermal expansion, capable of calcination in the air, and capable of reducing cost; and to provide a cell plate and a manufacturing method of these fuel battery cell and cell plate. <P>SOLUTION: A supporting substrate 2 is formed by laminating a gas-permeable porous ceramic layer 4 made of a ceramic material on a dense ceramic base 3 which is made of a dense non-porous ceramic material such as alumina and zirconia, and has a number of through-holes 3a communicating between both front and rear surfaces. The battery cell is formed by laminating on the supporting substrate 2 battery elements consisting of a fuel electrode layer 5, an electrolyte layer 6, and an air electrode layer 7 in this order or in the opposite order. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
