<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To search for a failure portion and a failure cause even when a sudden failure by a high load of an information processor or power source noise occurs in the information processor. <P>SOLUTION: The information processor is provided with a monitoring circuit 32 monitoring power source voltage/current supplied to each functional device (a system controller 21, a CPU 22, a main memory 24, an I/O device 23) in the information processor in each the functional device. When some failure occurs, the system controller 21 collects digital failure information about the CPU, the main memory and the I/O device, and the monitoring circuit 32 records an analog power source waveform and current amount of each the functional device including the system controller in synchronization with the digital failure information. Thereby, the failure information inside the system controller and a log of a load state of the information processor and a power fluctuation are associated to reduce a time spent for failure restoration or investigation of the failure cause. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
