<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid lowering of oil pressure inside an oil chamber formed inside a stern tube to a draught pressure or less. <P>SOLUTION: This oiling device for a stern tube is provided with seal mechanisms 7A and 7B between the stern tube 2 and a propeller shaft 3, and provided with an oil supplying circuit 30 for supplying the pressure oil 22 to the oil chamber 20 provided on inboard side of the seal mechanisms 7A and 7B. In order to compensate when the oil pressure Pst of the oil chamber 20 lowers to the draught pressure Psw or less, an auxiliary supplying means 36 is provided to supply the pressure oil 22 pressurized higher than that of the oil supplying circuit 30 to the oil chamber 20 after shutting off the oil supplying circuit 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
