PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor of axial gap motor and a manufacturing method of the rotor wherein reliability enhancement can be accomplished. SOLUTION: The rotor of axial gap motor is formed by rolling band-shaped electromagnetic steel plates 2 from a laminate and providing the formed laminate with permanent magnets. A plurality of caulking projections 6 are formed on the electromagnetic steel plates 2 so that they overlap one another in the direction of lamination of the laminate.
