PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a short-term memory activating system using a new 1/f fluctuation image in which prevention and changing for the better of dementia are actualized by recovering a short-term memory function. SOLUTION: The short-term memory activating system displays a 1/f fluctuation image on a display device, and is characterized by stimulating a user's brain through the sense of sight to this 1/f fluctuation image. The brain waves of the user are brought into the state of alpha waves and the mind is stabilized, and also the short-term memory function is recovered, and dementia is prevented and changed for the better.
