PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound insulation wall which has sufficient sound absorbing performance and sound insulating performance, at the same time, is simply manufactured, and realizes effective use of resources. SOLUTION: A plurality of H-shaped steels 30A and 30B are so erected that they are embedded in a concrete foundation 10 of the sound insulation wall 100. An embankment 20 is formed so that it can cover both sides of the concrete foundation 10, and curb 21 is provided to the outside of the embankment 20. A plurality of H-shaped steels 30A are erected at predetermined intervals so that the flat surfaces of them can be parallel with the longitudinal direction of the sound insulation wall 100. The ends of a plurality of timber from thinning 31 and slips 32 of wood are alternately inserted in recessed surfaces of the H-shaped steels 30A. A sound insulating steel plate 40 is supported by an H-shaped steel 30B, and it is erected on the concrete foundation 10. A sound absorbing material 50 having a stainless steel-made wire net bag 51 filled with granular charcoal 52 is inserted between each of a plurality of timber from thinning 31 and the sound insulating steel plate 40.
