PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely set the layout of a temperature detecting means and a control board in an electric hot-water reserving container by using an IC chip with a radio-communicable thermistor as the temperature detecting means. SOLUTION: The IC chip 26 with the temperature detecting function is disposed at an appropriate position on the outer surface of an inner container 3 in the electric hot-water reserving container, and a radio-communicable transmission/receiving unit 24 for the information on the temperature with the IC chip 26 is disposed on the control board 22. The information on the temperature of the inner container 3 detected by the IC chip 26 is transmitted by the radio communication to the control board 22 via the transmission/receiving unit 24 so that the heating power of an electric heater 4 is controlled by a control means of the control board 22.
