A bearing device for supporting a pinion shaft, wherein a double row angular contact ball bearing (6) with vertex of contact angles outside of bearing is used for supporting the pinion shaft (5), the internal space of the bearing (6) is sealed by seals (20) and (30) fitted to the axial both ends thereof, and grease is sealed in the internal space of the sealed bearing. Since oil used for a device in which the pinion shaft (5) is used is not led into the bearing (6), defects occurring in conventional examples in which the oil is led into the bearing (6) can be removed.
