The separator has a cylinder (18) and extends concavely where a gap between the cylinder and the concave element (16) is adjustable by an operated actuator (30). The actuator is intended for the adjustment of the gap at the inlet of the concave element and a second actuator (32) adjusts the gap at the discharge opening of the concave element. The actuators are controlled by electronics.
