<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which the opened/closed member of an apparatus main body can be opened without fail. <P>SOLUTION: A latch mechanism 200 provided on the opened/closed member 300 engages with the opened/closed member 300 attached to the apparatus main body 100 so as to be freely opened/closed and also with an engagement part 102 provided on the apparatus main body 100, thereby keeping the opened/closed member 300 in a closed state and also allowing them to be disengaged.
