<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a therapeutic tool for an endoscope for treating in a somatic cavity by operating the tool outside a body during using together with the endoscope. <P>SOLUTION: The therapeutic tool for the endoscope is equipped with a needle 441 for puncturing a living tissue. A thread 442 for suturing the tissue is fixed to this needle. Furthermore, the tool is equipped with a recovery member 440 capable of recovering the needle 441 pierced into the tissue. This recovery member has an outer peripheral part on which a groove 600 is formed and an inner hole, is furthermore formed in an elongate shape, and is equipped with a guide 462 capable of guiding the recovery member, an elongate tubular member 681 which can be inserted into this guide, and at least one arm 458 disposed at the proximal end of the elongate tubular member.
