<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing method in an image forming apparatus, in which thinness in density at a head part of an image due to deficiency in toner layer formation to a developing roller in the image forming apparatus developing a latent image by using a two-component developer electrifying toner by utilizing carrier and having only the electrified toner retained on the developing roller and flown to the electrostatic latent image. <P>SOLUTION: When continuous printing is carried out, printing ratio of a length which is equivalent to approximately one round of the developing roller at the head part of a next printed image is calculated.
