<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording material, which is excellent in storage stability (or bio-storage stability) before recording, has a little coloring due to exposure of a ground part and is excellent in the image stability (or light fastness) of a recording part. <P>SOLUTION: This recording material is formed by providing a recording layer including a cyclic sulfone compound and a diazo compound. Especially, a compound expressed by general formula (1) is preferably included in the cyclic sulfone compound.
