<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely perform detection of the speed of a vehicle that is an object and the photographing of the vehicle even in the presence of an obstacle with the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: This detector comprises a camera 70 for acquiring image data of the object; a transmitting receiving antenna 21 for transmitting microwave to the object and receiving a reflected wave reflected thereby; a detection means for detecting the object based on the transmitting frequency of the microwave and the receiving frequency received by the antenna; a speed detection means for detecting the speed of the object; a clock circuit 80 for clocking the acquisition times of the image data taken by the camera, the detection result taken by the detection means, and the speed data detected by the speed detection means; and a control part 50 for storing the image data, the detection result, the speed data and the times. The camera is incorporated with the transmitting and receiving antenna as an integrated unit so that the imaging direction of the camera, the transmitting and receiving direction of the antenna, and the imaging magnification of the camera can be properly changed by remotely operating a camera driving circuit 71 and an antenna driving part 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
