PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily display longitudinal section images or tomographic images of a subject accurately expressing the actual shape of the subject on a screen and to accurately measure the geometric quantity of the region of interest such as the feature part or lesion of the subject. SOLUTION: An ultrasonic diagnostic device comprises: an ultrasonic observation device 5 that transmits and receives an ultrasonic wave by an ultrasonic transducer 3a arranged on a tip end of a probe 2 and acquires a plurality of two-dimensional ultrasonic tomographic images for the subject in a living body; a position data calculator 7 that detects position data indicating the image center position of each piece of two-dimensional image data and an orientation of a tomographic plane; an image processor 11 that arranges the two-dimensional image data on a spatial coordinate system xyz corresponding to the moving route of the ultrasonic transducer 3a on the basis of the position data and each of the two-dimensional image data; and a distance computing part 14f for computing a geometric value on three dimensions indicated in the spatial coordinate system xyz where the two-dimensional image data are arranged.
