PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular tailgate which is opened/closed even when only a narrow space is present behind a vehicle. SOLUTION: The vehicular tailgate 10 is constituted so that the vehicular tailgate 10 is folded into an upper part gate 16 and a lower part gate 17 when the tailgate is opened. The vehicular tailgate 10 can be opened/closed even when only a narrow space is present between a vehicle and a distal wall of a garage when the vehicle enters the garage.
