PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rotor for a rotary electric machine in which assembling performance can be improved by pressing a reinforcing plate from the inner peripheral side to a claw-like magnetic pole by a pressing member without using an adhesive and a jig and it is possible to prevent the occurrence of positional deviations and coming-off of a reinforcing body during high-speed rotation. SOLUTION: Stoppers 25a, 25b for preventing the reinforcing body from coming off are formed to the inner peripheral faces 22b on the tip side and the root side of the first/second claw-like magnetic poles 22A, 22B. The reinforcing body 27 has a trapezoidal base part 27a and a pair of blades 27b formed to both sides of the base part 27a. A slit 27c is deviated to the bottom side of the trapezoidal shape at the central part in the height direction of the trapezoidal shape of the base part 27a and formed all over the area in the width direction of the base part 27a. The reinforcing body 27 is arranged so as to be in contact with the inner peripheral faces 22b of the first/second claw-like magnetic poles 22A, 22B in a state that a magnet 26 is stored and supported in each blade 27b. A D-ring is fitted to the slit 27c of the reinforcing body 27. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
