PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a single microphone in common for both speech recognition and a handsfree telephone call. SOLUTION: An on-vehicle microphone 1 is equipped with a filter part 13, having a plurality of filter constants 13<SB>1</SB>to 13<SB>n</SB>for filtering a speech input signal sensed by a microphone element 11 and amplified by an amplifier 12, a specifications input part 15 which receives the specifications of a filter constant, and a constant selection part 14 which selects the filter constant specified by the specification input part 15, from among the plurality of filter constants 13<SB>1</SB>to 13<SB>n</SB>as a filter constant used for filtering.
