PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dither processing method which generates no deviation in a position of a nozzle to discharge ink, even when using the dither processing to reproduce a pseudo-halftone, in an inkjet printer. SOLUTION: When a dither matrix of an N (lateral)×M (longitudinal) size (N and M are natural numbers) is developed not in a tiled arrangement, but in a main scanning direction, the dither matrix is shifted in a sub scanning direction by as much as P (an integer of -M<P<M) pixels.
