PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method, an image forming apparatus and a process cartridge, in which deterioration of a surface of an electrophotographic photoreceptor is prevented and by which good image quality can be obtained over a prolonged period of time. SOLUTION: When an electrophotographic process including electrostatic charge, exposure, development and transfer is carried out using an electrophotographic photoreceptor, a stabilizer containing a compound represented by formula (1) is supplied to a surface of the photoreceptor, wherein R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>each denotes H, halogen, a 1-10C alkyl or aralkyl and X denotes a divalent group.
