PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost bulletproof member in a complicated shape with a curved surface, etc. SOLUTION: The bulletproof member comprises shock absorbing layers 2, 3 formed by joining ceramic particles 7 with a resin 8 and a backing layer 4 arranged on the opposite side of the shock absorbing layers 2, 3 in a shot direction. The shock absorbing layers 2, 3 formed by joining the ceramic particles 7 with the resin 8 is hard to brittle-fracture and has no sharp bulletproof performance degradation in multiple hitting.
