PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission device and construction equipment capable of preventing blowing-out of lubricant. SOLUTION: An internal space of a transmission casing 400 is divided into a breather chamber 430 and a gear chamber 440 by using a front plate 431, a back plate 432 and a bottom plate 433 as partitions. Breather chamber passages 433a, 433b, 433c are formed on the bottom plate 433. In the configuration of this embodiment, the lubricant is scattered toward a left side of a hydraulic shovel 10 (arrow A). That is, the lubricant scattered by gears 401-403 passes through the breather chamber passages 433a, 433b, 433c and is not directly scattered to the breather chamber 430. Fine droplets of the lubricant are diffused to reach the inside of the breather chamber 430 (arrow B), and also attached and massed together on an inner wall of the breather chamber 430 to successively flow down to the bottom plate 433 of the breather chamber 430, the breather chamber passages 433a, 433b, 433c and the gear chamber 440 (arrow C).
