PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger for an automobile provided with a plurality of fans in parallel for the heat exchanger and capable of cooling a fan controller even when any fan stops. SOLUTION: The fan controller 1 attached to one corner of a fan shroud 8 is cooled by air stream generated by the fan 2 on one side through a fin 19 protruding in the fan shroud 8. Since air stream is generated through a duct 17 by air stream generated by the fan 3 on the other side around a main body of the fan controller 1 exposed to the outside of the fan shroud 8, the main body is cooled by not only outside air but also the air stream through the duct 17. Consequently, even if either of two fans 2 and 3 stops, the fan controller 1 can be cooled by the other fan as a temporary measure. Degree of freedom of a mounting position of the fan controller 1 is increased to avoid interference with auxiliary machinery protruding from the engine. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
