PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone exchange capable of effectively coping with an operation fault caused by each communication service function. SOLUTION: A control section 14 manages a communication signal such as an ISDN message recorded in resource areas 151 of a storage section 15 by each resource and releases a concerned resource area 151 in the storage section 15 in response to a communication service function whose release is requested. Further, the control section 14 carries out proper resource release processing on the basis of setting information of each resource information stored and managed on a resource table 152.
