PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability of a torsion beam, while maintaining roll rigidity. SOLUTION: In both sides of a curved part 7 of a hollow cross section of the torsion beam 4, walls opposite to each other in the inner surfaces thereof, namely an inside wall 8 and an outside wall 9 of an open cross section, are locally fixed to each other by welding. Furthermore, the inside wall 8 and the outside wall 9 opposite to each other in the inner surfaces thereof are separated from each other, except a fixing part 10, to enlarge cross sectional area inside a hollow part.
