PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headrest capable of preventing ingress of foreign matters between headrest elements even when the headrest element on the front side is at the operational position. SOLUTION: In the headrest, a headrest body 20 is divided into a headrest element 20A on the front side and a headrest element 20B on the back side, and the headrest element 20A on the front side can be moved between a normal position at which the headrest element on the front side is joined with the headrest element 20B on the back side and an operational position with the headrest element on the front side is brought close to a head of a person seated in a seat by an operating mechanism 30 built inside the headrest elements. Blocking members (blocking side parts 21a and 22a, and a blocking sheet 28) are provided on division parts of the headrest elements 20A and 20B. The blocking members cover a clearance generated between the headrest elements 20A and 20B when the headrest element 20A on the front side is moved to the operational position.
