PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recovering and purifying acarbose. SOLUTION: This method for obtaining the acarbose having a high purity is provided by performing the purification and recovery of the acarbose from a fermentation liquid of the acarbose by utilizing an alcohol precipitation, a strongly cationic ion-exchanging resin chromatography and an immobilized enzyme affinity chromatography.
