<p>Beverage container or drink can (10) having a hollow body (12) with an open end and a cap (16). The cap comprises a panel member having a main portion and a partially or fully severable portion (20) to create a dispensing aperture (38). The cap has a closure member (67) within or inside the container and is movable relative to the panel member. The closure member has an engagement projection (114) to engage portion (20) following severing and further folding of the severed portion (20) causes the closure member to turn to position a handle (49) to extend through the aperture. The handle (49) is configured for a user to selectively move the closure member (67) to close a beverage flow passage through the dispensing aperture or to open the passage for dispensing. A sealing member is also applied to the closure member surrounding the aperture (38) to provide a seal.</p> |
