PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display driving device that can precisely generate and output a microscopic current and that can attain uniformized operation characteristic by suppressing the influence of variation in processing precision in the production process of functional elements such as transistors and to provide a display device and a driving control method thereof by which good display quality is realized inexpensively.

SOLUTION: The display device 100 comprises; a display panel 110 on which a plurality of display pixels EM are arranged in a two dimensional array; a scanning driver 120 that sets the display pixel EM of each line at a selection state by applying a scanning signal Vsel; a signal voltage generating circuit 130 that generates a signal voltage Vdata based on a display data; and a voltage-current converter circuit 140A that is connected to each data line DL arranged on the display panel and that generates a grayscale current Ipix based on the signal voltage Vdata and supplies the current to the display pixel EM set in the selection state through each data line DL.
