<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retaining device holding a slide door in a completely opening door position by using a clutch mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: The power slide device is provided with a motor 24, a wire drum 30 moving the slide door 11, and a clutch mechanism 31 having an electromagnetic coil section 60. The clutch mechanism 31 is provided with a usual clutch connection state transmitting the rotation of the motor 24 to the wire drum 30, a clutch cutting state bringing to non-connection, and a brake clutch connection state capable of retaining the connection of the wire drum 30 and the motor 24 even if the electromagnetic coil section 60 is turned off, the connected state of the brake clutch in which the brake clutch does not return to the disconnected state when the electromagnetic coil section 60 is not turned on, is provided. In the clutch mechanism 31 the slide door 11 slides to the door opening direction and reaches in the completely door opened position, and the clutch is switched from the clutch connection state to the brake clutch connection state as a feature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
