PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a syringe advantageous for work automation by further simplifying work such as inspection, measurement, and research. SOLUTION: This syringe 1 is equipped with a tubular syringe body 2 having a bottom part 21 and a nozzle 22, a gasket 3 inserted into the syringe body 2 and slidable axially of the syringe body 2, a plunger 4 for moving/operating the gasket 3, and a rod-shaped solid phase 5 formed to project in a center part end direction of the gasket 3. The solid phase 5 can adsorb an object (such as DNA) in a specimen material onto its surface. When moving the gasket 3 and the plunger 4 in the end direction, an end part of the solid phase 5 projects by a prescribed length from an end opening 24 of the nozzle 22.
