PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a phenomenon that only a specific battery or battery block deteriorates in an electrical apparatus with which a plurality of battery blocks or a plurality of batteries can be connected. SOLUTION: A hybrid battery 100 so constructed that it can be connected to the main unit of an electrical apparatus that consumes power comprises cell block A 101 and cell block B 111. The cell block A comprises one or more battery cells and is discharged after charging and thereby supplies power to the main unit of the electrical apparatus. The cell block B comprises one or more battery cells and is discharged after charging and thereby supplies power to the main unit of the electrical apparatus. The cell block B and the cell block A is alternatively made active. A cell block to be made active is selected by a CPU 120 based on the number of charging/discharging cycles of the cell block A 101 and the number of charging/discharging cycles of the cell block B 111.
