SOLID-STATE IMAGING APPARATUS AND CAMERA INCLUDING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging apparatus which can save the number of pixels in the horizontal direction and output at a high speed the high quality image signal without generation of moire and false signal. SOLUTION: The solid-state imaging apparatus comprises an imaging section 140 formed of a plurality of photoelectric converter 100 and a vertical transfer 110, a horizontal transfer 120, and a sharing transfer 130 allocated between the imaging part 140 and the horizontal transfer 120. The sharing transfer 130 is provided with a plurality of independent electrodes for independently controlling, for each column, the read operation of signal charges to the horizontal transfer 120 from the vertical transfer 110.
