PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary-air supply device of an internal combustion engine for enabling a correct flow-control of secondary-air to an exhaust-gas passage. SOLUTION: In the secondary-air supply device of an internal combustion engine, air from a secondary-air supply part is supplied as secondary-air through a secondary-air supply passage 3 to the exhaust-gas passage. A secondary-air flow controller 7 is provided in the secondary-air supply passage 3 in order to control the secondary-air flow. The secondary-air flow controller 7 comprises a valve element 15 for opening/closing the secondary-air supply passage 3, and a valve-operation mechanism 16 for opening/closing the valve element 15. The valve-operation mechanism 16 comprises a stepper motor 22 and an output shaft. The output shaft is screwed to a rotor 28 of the stepper motor 22, and its rotation is restrained by a rotation-restraint member 33.
