PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shower head connection joint and a faucet with a shower head easily connecting the shower head excellent in functionability instead of a water discharge pipe to a downward water heading outlet of a faucet body usually connecting the water discharge pipe. SOLUTION: In a joint 4 for connecting the shower head 3 to the downward water heading outlet 21 of the faucet body 2, the joint 4 is equipped with an approximately L-shaped pipe-like joint body 4A to which a box-nut 41 screwable to a male screw 211 of the water heading outlet 21 is rotatably mounted to one end section and an approximately cylindrical adapter 4B having a female screw 42 screwable to a male screw 31 of the basic end section of the shower head 3 and inserting and fixing to the other end section of the joint body 4A.
