PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire for run flat capable of obtaining good riding comfort both at the normal traveling time and the run flat time. SOLUTION: An elastic structure 4, whose one part is jointed with an inner wall of a side wall part 3 and which extends in a tire peripheral direction, is arranged. At the run flat time, a portion projecting in a tire inside space is nipped between inner wall faces of the side wall part 3, or between an inner wall face of the side wall part 3 and an inner wall face of a tread part 5. Preferably, a center of gravity of a meridian section of the elastic structure 4 is positioned outward in the tire axial direction more than a tire radial direction line passing through a bead toe at the normal load time.
