<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure that the optimal size and arrangement direction of a printing image to an output sheet can be automatically decided only by presetting the number of layouts to be printed in a single page of the output sheet and thereby, procedures for presetting conditions during layout printing can be curtailed to improve the use convenience of a layout printing method for a user. <P>SOLUTION: In this layout printing method which prints images of a plurality of pages in a single page of the output sheet, a printing conditions presetting process (step S301) which presets the number of layouts (the number of images) to be printed in a single page of the output sheet; a printed document/image data acquiring process (step S302) which acquires document/image data to be printed; a printing data creating process (step S303) which creates print data including format information for layout printing; and a print processing execution process (step S304) for executing a printing process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
