<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide portable equipment with illumination function which has high designability and is prevented from lowering in luminance when LED is lighted and object illumination by suppressing transparency of LED through a window when LED when not lighted, and can illuminate the object more brightly in a dark place. <P>SOLUTION: The portable equipment is provided with: a camera mounted on a portable equipment main body; a light emitting diode 2 emitting light at camera photographing; the window 6 covering the light emitting diode and transmitting light of the light emitting diode; a drive circuit 4 driving the light emitting diode; and a control circuit 3 controlling the drive circuit, wherein the portable equipment is also provided with a light transmission regulating means 1 arranged in a front face of the light emitting diode in the window 6, and the light transmission regulating means 1 transmits light when the light emitting diode is lighted and regulates transmission of light when the light emitting diode is not lighted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
