PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of bringing the cost in line, and ensuring a good fit feel. SOLUTION: A connector 10 is designed to be locked to a mating connector by forming integrally a lock arm 13 that permits an elastic deformation onto a connector housing 11, providing a latching protrusion 14 on the lock arm 13, causing the lock arm 13 to undergo an elastic deformation, thereby leading the latching protrusion 14 into the mating connector to complete the latching. The lock arm 13 extends in straight line from a base end 16 to the latching protrusion 14 with an elastically deformed portion 17 being inclined, an arm 18 is formed in dog-leg shape extending along and the top surface 12A from the latching protrusion 14, and a space 19 is formed between an end 18A of the arm 18 and the connector housing 11.
