PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easy obtaining of stable operation and to widen available range. SOLUTION: A switch formed on a base plate 1 is so structured to be inputted as a keytop 4 is swung to one of the cross directions. Four protrusions 6 protruded downward are provided in slanted directions between the four cross directions; and at an underside of the keytop 4, each protrusion generating a gap g against the base plate 1 when the keytop 4 is not swung, and coming in contact with the base plate 1 to stop the switch from operating when the keytop 4 is swung in slanted directions.
