PRECHARGING CIRCUIT EMPLOYING INACTIVE WEAK PRECHARGING AND EQUALIZING SCHEME ARE SELECTED, MEMORY INCLUDING THE CIRCUIT, AND ITS PRECHARGING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a precharging circuit in which inactive weak precharging and an equalizing scheme are employed, and also to provide a memory including the precharging circuit, and its precharging method. SOLUTION: In the inactive weak precharging and the equalizing scheme, a non-selected bit line and a complementary bit line are equalized while memory cell data to be transmitted to a bit line to be selected and the complementary bit line are detected and amplified to make the voltage differences large and then, the bit line and the complementary bit line being selected during precharging and the non-selected bit line and the complementary bit line are precharged. Thus, the precharging current and the operation current are reduced because no large precharging driving capability is required to the inactive bit line and the complementary bit line which are equalized to a prescribed voltage level during the precharging operation.
