PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating device of an electronic apparatus of which the operating knob has a proper operability and is composed so that a set adjusted value is not altered inadvertently, when the power supply is turned off for which the manipulation of the operating knob is not necessary. SOLUTION: The operating device of the electronic apparatus comprises the operating knob 8 capable of carrying out the advancing/retreating action of sinking/projection action, with regard to a panel 10, and a revolving action, and a driving means 11 for causing the operating knob 8 to at least retreat to perform the sinking action. Since the sinking action of the operating knob 8 is performed by the driving means 11, the operating knob 8 will not be made to turn inadvertently, when the electronic apparatus is powered off and the operation of the knob 8 is dispensed with. Thus since the sinking action is performed by the driving means 11, the set adjusted value is maintained, and the operating knob 8 can be operated automatically, providing proper operability.
