PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly correct variations in sensitivity, caused by an individual difference of a microwave Doppler sensor and a control part, an individual difference based on the condition of the installation of the microwave Doppler sensor, and the like, in the state of not being affected by the human body and excrement, in terms of a toilet bowl flushing apparatus using the microwave Doppler sensor. SOLUTION: This toilet bowl flushing apparatus is equipped with a valve for controlling the supply of flushing water, a toilet bowl, the microwave Doppler sensor for detecting the presence or absence of a user or the excrement, and the control part for controlling the opening/closing of the valve in accordance with an output signal of the microwave Doppler sensor: and the control part is equipped with a means for opening the valve under the condition of the absence of the user, and a correction means for correcting the sensitivity of detection by the microwave Doppler sensor, in accordance with the output of the microwave Doppler sensor when the valve is opened under the condition of the absence of the user.
