METHOD OF PRODUCING Al-Zn ALLOY PLATED STEEL STRIP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an Al-Zn alloy plated steel strip in which hardening is suppressed, and workability is improved. SOLUTION: A steel strip is introduced into a hot dip plating bath to form an Al-Zn alloy plated layer comprising 50 to 60 mass% Al on the surface of the steel strip. The steel strip is thereafter subjected to post heating treatment so as to be heated at 150 to 350°C for≥0.5 hr and to be cooled to ordinary temperature at a cooling rate of≤0.8°C/min, and is next subjected to skinpass rolling at an elongation percentage of 0.2 to 3.0%.
